Cleaning Checklist!

Kitchen

Kitchen

  •        Cupboards & Cabinets (Top Corner First)

  •        Dust/wipe tops.

  •        Vacuum crumbs inside cupboards/drawers, then wipe.

  •        Wipe outside doors & handles.

  •        Backsplash & Walls ( wipe and sanitize backsplash, spot clean walls

  •       Countertops

  •       Clear items, wipe/sanitize surface at eye level to check for          crumbs/streaks.

  •       Wipe items before returning them.

  •       Lower Storage

  •       Vacuum & wipe drawers, shelves, and fronts.

  •       Appliances

  •       Inside/outside fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher.

  •       Don’t forget handles, knobs, seals.

  •       Final Touches

  •       Sanitize bins.

  •       Dust/vacuum baseboards & vents.

  •       Vacuum & mop floor (pull appliances if possible).

Bedrooms and Living Spaces

  •      Start in a corner, ceiling height: dust/wipe corners, fans, vents, fixtures.

  •      Shelves: top → bottom.

  •      Windows: glass, sills, tracks.

  •      Surfaces: dust/wipe furniture, décor, electronics.

  •      Couches & Upholstery, Vacuum cushions, under/behind, Lift & clean crevices.

  •      Walls & Doors: spot clean fingerprints, switches, handles.

  •      Baseboards & Vents: dust/vacuum thoroughly.

  •      Floors: vacuum carpets/rugs (move small furniture when possible) wash hard floors.

Bathrooms

  •     Start with light fixtures above vanity.

  •     Mirror - (streak-free).

  •     Vanity - Clear surface, wipe items before replacing. 

  •     Wipe/sanitize top, sink, faucet (dry for shine).

  •     Inside Vanity - Vacuum drawers/cupboards, then wipe.

  •     Toilet - Scrub bowl, wipe tank, handle, base.

  •     Shower/Tub - Scrub tiles, grout, glass, fixtures.

  •     Final Touches - Baseboards & vents. 

  •     Vacuum, mop, and dry floor. 

  •     Polish chrome & high-touch areas.

Stairs

  • Vacuum treads, risers, and edges.

  • Wipe with damp cloth into creases/crevices.

  • Dab with dry cloth to lift dirt.

  • Re-vacuum to finish.

Basement

  •     Start in corner, top to bottom.

  •     Dust ceiling corners, light fixtures, pipes/vents.

  •     Clean windows, sills, and tracks.

  •     Wipe shelving, storage bins, or appliances (washer/dryer, freezer).

  •     Vacuum/wipe baseboards and vents.

  •     Deep vacuum all carpets and area rugs.

  •     Mop hard floors.

Whole-Home Details

  •    Always vacuum before wiping inside cupboards/drawers.
